Dr. Youran Xu is a senior manager of the department of Global Epidemiology, Janssen Research & Development, LLC. Her main work is related to real-world studies, including real-world study design, data analysis, real-world evidence (RWE) generation to support clinical and regulatory decision making. She currently focuses on the therapeutic areas of immunology and dermatology.
Born in Beijing, China, Youran attended and graduated from Peking University in China with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Afterwards, she went to the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Public Health in the USA, completed a doctoral program, and obtained her PhD degree in Epidemiology.
