My name is Soyoung Lee, and I graduated from MCPHS University in Boston with a Pharm.D. I am currently in the second year of my master's degree at the College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University. My major is social pharmacy, with a particular focus on pharmacovigilance, especially regarding medication misuse and abuse resulting from individual behavior. I plan to present a topic on Tirzepatide, a novel antidiabetic medication that has been hailed as a game changer in diabetes treatment. Due to its remarkable efficacy, concerns have arisen regarding its off-label use for cosmetic purposes in non-obese individuals. Therefore, my research aims to detect these early signals of misuse using real-world data from the FAERS database.
