Reese has nine years of research experience working in academic, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and government sectors across a variety of therapeutic areas. At Pfizer, Reese is responsible for the design and conduct of epidemiologic studies to inform clinical development programs and to support regulatory submissions to the FDA, EMA and other agencies globally. She also develops innovative methodologies regarding Pfizer’s understanding of disease natural history and pharmacoepidemiology to support decision-making across portfolios. Prior to joining Pfizer, she conducted infectious disease research at Boston University School of Public Health using large sources of real-world data, such as healthcare administrative data, routinely collected surveillance data, smartphone mobility data, and social media data. She also worked on a Phase 2 clinical trial of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis treatment. As part of the World Health Organization ACT-Accelerator, she also led research efforts in the SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Modeling Consortium, which provided evidence on the optimal use of rapid antigen tests to inform resource allocation and global policy. Before that, she worked at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she led data analysis, data management, and protocol development for several clinical research studies in brain injury.
