Chinenye is an epidemiologist and pharmacist with 2 decades of experience that cuts across Epidemiology and Outcomes Research, Regulatory Science, and Healthcare & Quality Management. She is currently Principal, Real World Strategy and Innovation (RWSI) in IQVIA where she supports the development and application of innovative solutions to real-world evidence generation for pharmacoepidemology studies. She has led the design and execution of fit-for-purpose solutions for complex real-world studies in oncology and rare disease, including natural history studies, external comparator, long term follow-up, post-marketing safety and efficacy studies to support regulatory approvals or fulfil regulatory requirements. Prior to joining IQVIA, she worked at the US FDA as an Epidemiologist/Reviewer in FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, as an Epidemiology Research Fellow at the National Cancer Institute’s Division of Cancer Epidemiology & Genetics and a Lead Epidemiologist/ Project Director at the Epidemiology Division of University of Maryland’s Institute of Human Virology. She obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a PhD in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
