Bingya Ma is a doctoral candidate in epidemiology at the University of California, Irvine. Her research primarily focuses on cancer epidemiology and real-world evidence, with her dissertation exploring the etiology of early-onset gastrointestinal cancer using electronic health records from UC Health and addressing related methodological issues. During the conference, Bingya will present the results of a project funded by the National Cancer Institute under the Cancer Epidemiology Education in Special Populations (CEESP) grant, investigating the comorbidity patterns of early-onset liver cancer in minority populations. Prior to her doctoral studies, Bingya earned a Master of Medicine in Clinical Science of Integrative Medicine and a Bachelor of Medicine in Chinese Medicine from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, where she also completed her residency training.
