Elizabeth (Liz) Garry, PhD, MPH is a VP of Science and the Head of Scientific Research + Analytics at Aetion, Inc. She is a pharmacoepidemiologist by training with over 18 years of experience in the implementation, management, and leadership of epidemiologic research across multi-disciplinary teams involving clinical, academia, pharmaceutical industry, regulatory agencies, and clinical research organizations.
At Aetion, she is a Principal Investigator and Head of a team of researchers, accountable for identification of fit-for-purpose data, and the methodological design, execution, and successful delivery of priority scientific research efforts, including regulatory-related engagements, and is considered a subject matter expert in pharmacoepidemiologic methods, best practices, and regulatory standards to yield real-world evidence (RWE).
She holds a PhD in Epidemiology with a concentration in Pharmacoepidemiology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MPH with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Tufts University School of Medicine.
