Angel Wong is Assistant Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Her main research area is pharmacoepidemiology, focusing on the use of different study designs and methodologies, including within-person study designs and propensity score method to address bias and confounding.
She currently holds a British Heart Foundation Fellowship for research studies investigating drug-drug interactions in the UK and Hong Kong. She is also a member of OpenSafety, collaborating with University of Oxford to work on behalf of NHS England and in partnership with NHSX to study effectiveness and safety of drugs in the context of COVID-19 pandemic. She is also involved in studies examining drug effects on renal outcomes, and the role of stress in skin and renal diseases using clinical data from the UK and Denmark.
