My name is Hyesung Lee, and I am currently working as a research professor at Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea. My academic background is based on statistics and pharmacoepidemiology. My research field is perinatal epidemiology, vaccine safety surveillance, and comparative effectiveness and safety evaluation. In recent times, I have focused on external comparator arm and machine learning. Since 2017, I published more than 50 publications in SCI journals, including BMJ, Clinical Infectious Disease, and PLOS Medicine.
