As a researcher in reproductive epidemiology with 10 years of experience and 42 published papers, my research focuses on mental health during reproductive life, particularly concerning psychiatric disorders in women (as a biological component) and children. Utilizing Danish health registers, notably the Danish Medical Birth Register, I've conducted extensive investigations, encompassing over 1.3 million pregnancies. I authored a review paper on the Danish Medical Birth Register and recently validated obstetric codes using medical records. Collaborating with national and international partners, I've spearheaded over eight research projects, examining psychiatric health among pregnant women, mothers, and children through various methodologies. My research aims to improve mental health outcomes for women and children by exploring the intricate relationship between reproductive health and mental wellbeing, guided by transparency and the highest scientific standards.
