My name is Edmund Cheung and I'm a PhD student at the The University of Hong Kong. My research interests in pharmacoepidemiology include observational study designs, propensity score methods, and studies revolving around the topic of dementia. My PhD thesis focuses on the opportunities and challenges of conducting studies of dementia using pharmacoepidemiologic methods. I have experience in conducting large multinational database cohort studies with dementia as an outcome and time series analyses within dementia populations. Currently, I have been working on the application of high dimensional propensity scores using routinely collected clinical data from hospitals in Hong Kong.
