Director Epidemiology
RTI Health Solutions, Barcelona, Spain, Spain
I am a Director of Epidemiology at RTI-HS. I've joined RTI-HS in 2016. Prior to that, I have academic research experience in environmental determinants of child neurodevelopment, including longitudinal studies performed in Spain on brain development and air pollution ultrafine particles in school children and European collaborative cohort project studies within the European FP7 and Environmental Health Risks in European Birth Cohorts project (PhD training). I also have a postdoctoral training in environmental epidemiology from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, which involved an FP7 project entitled Developmental Neurotoxicity Assessment of Mixtures in Children. I've also spent 4 years as an Associate Lecturer of Epidemiology at the Pompeu Fabra University Nursing School. In addition, I was involved in cohort studies, case-control studies, meta-analyses, and multiple exposure analysis studies. Finally, I have also experience as a clinical neuropsychologist at several hospitals in Barcelona.
