My main research interest is in perinatal pharmacoepidemiology. I have long experience with combining data from many Norwegian and Nordic national health registers/databases. Furu's current research focus is on prescription drug exposures among pregnant women and their partners and short and long-term outcomes in the child. Furu leads and collaborates in several international research groups on drug safety in pregnancy.
