Hester is a part time DPhil student at the University of Oxford working on a project using National healthcare data to investigate the long-term clinical outcomes of COVID-19 using statistical methods. She is interested in using real world data to answer clinically relevant questions.

Alongside her DPhil, Hester works as a Principal Epidemiologist at the UK Health Security within the COVID Vaccine and Epidemiology team focusing monitoring COVID-19 mortality and post-acute COVID-19 outcomes.
