Asociate Director of Epidemiology
IQVIA, United States
I am an epidemiologist and biostatistician with extensive research experience conducting pharmacoepidemiology studies, and regulatory experience as an epidemiologist at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). I earned my doctorate in epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University where my research focused on inappropriate medication use among patients with heart failure, modeling adverse event risk across the spectrum of renal function. I spent 9+ years in FDA’s Office of Surveillance and Epidemiology reviewing and conducting postmarket drug safety and effectiveness studies. I am currently the associate director of epidemiology in IQVIA's Information and Analytics, Government Solutions team. At IQVIA I oversee research, data, and technical solutioning for government clients, and I lead IQVIA’s science and data team for FDA's Biologics Effectiveness and Safety (BEST) initiative. I have published my work in numerous scientific journals, and I co-authored a chapter in Strom’s Pharmacoepidemiology, Sixth Edition (2020).
