Krista F. Huybrechts, MS PhD FISPE is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at Harvard Medical School, and a pharmacoepidemiologist in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology, Department of Medicine, Brigham and Women's Hospital. She co-directs the Harvard Program on Perinatal and Pediatric Pharmacoepidemiology (Harvardpreg.org). Dr. Huybrechts' research centers on studying the utilization, comparative safety and effectiveness of medications in pregnancy, with particular reference to psychotropic medications. She works on several initiatives aimed to further improve the quality of causal inference studies in pregnancy, both in terms of the underlying data and the design and analytic approaches used. Dr. Huybrechts chaired the scientific program committee for the society's annual meeting in Boston in 2015, and served as the society's Vice President Finance from 2018-2020.
