Geetika Kalloo, PhD, MPH leads pharmacoepidemiologic studies for medical product safety in the life sciences industry, including study protocol development, data management, data analysis, and reporting. Dr. Kalloo has a decade of academic, hospital-based, and healthcare consulting experience with large databases and population-based cohort studies. Methodologically, she is oriented towards causal inference, propensity score based methods, and machine learning techniques. Dr. Kalloo’s work has primarily focused on using innovative and robust epidemiologic methods to better investigate maternal and child outcomes during pregnancy. Her work has been published in journals including the Journal of Experimental Medicine, Epidemiology, International Journal of Epidemiology, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, Environmental Health, Science and Technology, and Environment International. Dr. Kalloo is a member of the Society for Epidemiologic Research (SER), the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE), and the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE). Dr. Kalloo earned her PhD in Epidemiology at Brown University and her MPH at the Boston University School of Public Health.
