Onur Gultekin, MD is a resident physician in the Department of Medical Pharmacology at Marmara University School of Medicine. Dr. Gultekin completed his medical degree at Trakya University School of Medicine and is currently pursuing his specialization in Medical Pharmacology at Marmara University. Prior to his current role, Dr. Gultekin worked as a resident physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at Medeniyet University School of Medicine. His research interests include pharmacoeconomics, drug safety, and the rational use of medicines, with a particular focus on optimizing drug therapies in special populations such as pregnant women and the elderly. Research by Dr. Gultekin has been presented at various national and international conferences, including the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting and the European Network of Teratology Information Service (ENTIS) Conference. His published work spans several peer-reviewed journals, and he remains actively involved in research aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes through the development of more efficient and safer pharmacological treatments.
