Tsung-Hua Shen (he/him/his) is a pharmacoepidemiologist and a licensed pharmacist from Taiwan. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Social and Administrative Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota. Shen's research focuses on using secondary claims data, such as Medicare, MarketScan, and Komodo Healthcare Map, as well as publicly available data sources (NHANES and NHIS). His goal is to investigate drug utilization patterns and the long-term safety and efficacy of diabetic medications among chronic disease populations, including those with type 2 diabetes, heart failure, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Shen is also interested in evaluating health policies and programs, such as Medicare Medication Therapy Management, for patients with chronic health conditions.
