Dr. Cindy Zhou is a trained epidemiologist with extensive expertise in post-market safety studies for vaccines and therapeutics. With a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from George Washington University and medical training in China, she brings a wealth of knowledge in epidemiological methods, statistical analysis, and real-world evidence synthesis. Dr. Zhou has over a decade of experience at the U.S. National Cancer Institute, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Carelon (formerly HealthCore), and the U.S. FDA. She has led many observational studies on safety and effectiveness, authoring over 30 peer-reviewed articles. Currently, she is the Director of Global Safety Epidemiology at Moderna and serves as Chair of the ISPE Vaccine Special Interest Group (SIG).
