Sebastian Jugl is a trained pharmacist from Germany, and a PhD Candidate at the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at the University of Florida. He is particularly interested in applying pharmacoepidemiologic and pharmacoeconomic methods to investigate drug utilization, drug safety, the effects of state and federal laws, and financial burden in the area of oncology, women´s health, and medical cannabis research. Sebastian also is an author for the German pharmaceutical association (DPhG) and has received several national and international awards (e.g., the Emerging Leader Award from ISPE in 2023) recognizing his academic excellence.
