Nicholas is currently appointed as an Epidemiologist (PI), working within the DARWIN EU® project at Erasmus Medical Centre Rotterdam. He will defend his PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology Methods from Utrecht University in 2024. The focus of the PhD was on the review and improvement of methods used in multi-database pharmacoepidemiology research to overcome challenges such as missing data and database heterogeneity. Alongside this, he studied MSc Epidemiology (postgraduate) at the same institution. Nicholas obtained a research MSc in Medical Pharmaceutical Sciences (cum laude) at the University of Groningen in 2019, focusing on pharmacoepidemiology.
