Miyuki Hsing-Chun Hsieh recently graduated with a PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, and is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the same institution. Her research primarily focuses on drug safety, including the use of hypothesis-free methods to identify drug safety signals and various pharmacoepidemiological designs to assess adverse drug reactions. Her recent work includes signal detection studies and safety evaluations of COVID-19 vaccines (as part of the GVDN project), as well as studies on the pregnant population. In addition to her work on drug safety, Miyuki is involved in multiple international research projects investigating real-world drug utilization and effectiveness. She actively contributes to the AsPEN and NeuroGEN research networks. Miyuki is also the immediate past Chair of the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) Student Council, where she promoted student events and increase student engagement in society activities.
