Joann F. Gruber has a PhD in epidemiology. She works as an epidemiologist at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research in the Office of Biostatistics and Pharmacovigilance. She is a member of the CBER Surveillance Program. The CBER Surveillance Program conducts post-marketing safety surveillance of CBER-regulated products, including vaccines, to inform regulatory decisions.
