Melanie H. Jacobson, PhD, MPH (she/her/hers)

Melanie Jacobson is a reproductive epidemiologist with an interest in women’s health and a specific focus on the perinatal period. Dr. Jacobson received a PhD in epidemiology from Emory University and an MPH in epidemiology and biostatistics from Tufts University School of Medicine. She is currently an Associate Director of Epidemiology at Johnson & Johnson supporting the neuroscience therapeutic area. She also has an adjunct appointment at NYU School of Medicine.

Before coming to Johnson & Johnson, she worked in the Division of Environmental Pediatrics at NYU School of Medicine, where she conducted studies on the effects of environmental exposures on women's reproductive and endocrine function, maternal mental health, and birth outcomes. She also previously worked at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in the World Trade Center Health Registry, where she conducted research on the health effects of environmental exposures from the 9/11 attacks on women and children.
