Dr. Miano is a Critical Care Pharmacist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Perelman School of Medicine. He received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, completed critical pharmacy residency at Wake Forest University Medical Center, and received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania. He is an elected fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine and an Executive Editor of the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Miano’s research program focuses on drug associated acute kidney injury and the health effects of drug-drug interactions.
