Daniel B. Horton, MD, MSCE, FISPE, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Epidemiology, and Chancellor’s Scholar, at Rutgers University and the Rutgers Center for Pharmacoepidemiology and Treatment Science (PETS). His research focuses on drug utilization and safety in pediatric populations; the origins and management of juvenile idiopathic arthritis; and COVID-19 and multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children. Within ISPE, Dr. Horton has served as the Chair of the Pediatric Special Interest Group, Chair of the 2019 ICPE Local Host Committee, and a member of the Scientific Program Committee and Public Policy Committee. He serves as a consultant to the US FDA Drug Safety and Risk Management Advisory Committee.
