Dr Danielle Newby is a senior researcher in real world evidence based at the University of Oxford. She has a multidisciplinary background in epidemiology, pharmacology, and machine learning. Her main research interests involve triangulating evidence from multiple sources such as medical records and genetic data to understand more about what causes certain diseases and what can be done to intervene with new or existing interventions. Understanding these relationships will provide an evidence base to support public health interventions for a wide variety of health conditions. Danielle currently working on a variety of different projects including cancer survival, drug utilisation and safety, and Mendelian randomization studies.
