Research in use of medicines - in its broadest sense. Usually using real-world data from Danish (or international) data sources to investigate known or unknown effects of drug treatment. I am a professor at the University of Southern Denmark, where I do most of my registry-based research. I'm also the Head of Research at Hospital Pharmacy Funen at the Odense University Hospital, where we primarily do clinical research centered around deprescribing. I have published more than 300 pharmacoepidemiological papers in various international journals.
