Joshua J Gagne, PharmD, ScD, FISPE is Vice President and Global Head of Epidemiology at Johnson & Johnson. His work over the last 15+ years has focused on developing, evaluating, and applying novel methods, tools, and systems for using healthcare claims data, electronic health records, and other real-world data sources to monitor the use and outcomes of drugs, biologics, and medical devices. Josh is a faculty member in the Department of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where he has developed courses in pharmacoepidemiology and real world evidence generation. He is a Fellow of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology and serves on the Editorial Board of Drug Safety.
