Dustin K. Miracle, PharmD, MS received his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Master of Science (MS) in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy (UKCoP) in Lexington, KY. He is current pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at the UKCoP while practicing as a relief pharmacist in the community pharmacy setting. Dr. Miracle’s research interests primarily surround impacts of health policy on drug utilization and outcomes. His publications include works relating to pharmacist provision of contraceptive services as well as opioid dispensing, safe disposal, and treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD). His dissertation work revolves around examining contraceptive utilization relative to the COVID-19 pandemic and within disparate populations, as well as assessing impacts of extended days’ supply coverage mandates on continuity of contraceptive use.
