Kristin Palmsten, ScD, is a Senior Research Investigator and Co-Director of the Pregnancy and Child Health Research Center at HealthPartners Institute. She earned her doctorate in Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Palmsten's research focuses primarily on evaluating the safety of medication use and vaccination during pregnancy and lactation. She was awarded the 2013 Abraham Lilienfeld Student Prize from the Society for Epidemiologic Research, a 2015-2016 University of California San Diego Chancellor's Postdoctoral Scholar Award, and a 2020 National Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology Early Career Professional Achievement Award.
