Shih-Chieh Shao serves as the Senior Pharmacist and Director of the Evidence-Based Medicine Center at Keelung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. His research primarily explores treatment effects and disease characteristics through the use of extensive healthcare databases, as well as systematic reviews and meta-analyses. His work has resulted in notable contributions to the field, evidenced by 87 SCI-indexed publications and an H-index of 18. His research has been published in prestigious journals such as the BMJ, Nature Medicine, Critical Care, JAMA Network Open, and BMC Medicine. Additionally, his research has been recognized and cited in review articles by JAMA, Science, the 2022 ADA-EASD Consensus Report, and the 2022 Heart Disease and Stroke Statistics report by the American Heart Association.
