Giulia Hyeraci graduated in pharmacy at the University of Florence in 2015. Immediately after graduation she started working first at the Department of Pharmacoepidemiology at the University of Florence and then at the Regional Health Agency of Tuscany, Italy. Her research interests lie in the area of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance, in which she has carried out systematic literature reviews and pharmacoutilization studies.
She attended many pharmacoepidemiology conferences where she presented her studies and improved her knowledges in studying the real-world use, effectiveness and safety of medicines.
Nowadays, she is attending a master course in Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance at the University of Bordeaux. In particular, the topics of her course of studies include the public health impact of adverse drug reactions and the assessment of benefit-risk assessment in the process of decision-making on medicines.
