Professor, Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research
University of Maryland School of Pharmacy
My clinical and research expertise is grounded in pharmacoepidemiology, psychopharmacology, pediatric mental health, and patient-centered outcomes research. Currently working with state agencies to monitor psychotropic medication use among youth in foster care and advising on best practices to improve the quality of mental health care for youth served in the public sector. Patient-centered outcomes research has focused on advancing preference elicitation methods to facilitate patient and family guided care plans. This program of research has been funded by several federal grants from the National Institute of Mental Health and the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute.
