Dr. Ahmad Alamer is an assistant professor in the clinical pharmacy department at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from King Faisal University and then completed rigorous clinical residencies in Pharmacy Practice and Ambulatory Care Pharmacy at the Banner University of Arizona Medical Center in the United States. He holds a postdoctoral fellowship in Health Outcomes & Pharmacoeconomics from the University of Arizona. Dr. Alamer is Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM). His research interests are in pharmacotherapy outcomes, observational studies, and the application of data analytics, statistical inference, and prediction models to improve patient care.
Recognized for his significant contributions to the field, Dr. Alamer has received several prestigious awards, including Best Research Paper at the Saudi Society of Clinical Pharmacy in 2022, the Second Award for Research Poster at the Saudi Gastroenterology Association Digestive Disease Forum in 2023 , and awards at the IHOPE conference, Alfaisal University's Research Day, and the Annual American Association of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) conference. His work is supported by substantial grants from leading institutions such as Saudi National Institute of Health (SNIH) and King Abdul-Aziz City for Science and Technology Research and others.
