Michelle Ann Caesar, MPH is a third year PhD epidemiology student at the University of California, San Diego. She earned her B.A. in Public Health Policy at the University of California, Irvine and her M.P.H in Epidemiology & Biostatistics and Maternal & Child Health at Boston University where her research focused on the life course, substance use in adolescents, and risk factors in pregnancy. She is currently a graduate student researcher at the Center for Better Beginnings where she is focusing on prescription medication exposure in pregnancy and adverse maternal and birth outcomes. Michelle Ann will be doing her dissertation on pregnancy complications and infant outcomes among pregnant persons following treatment for an opioid use disorder.
