Christian Fynbo Christiansen is a consultant physician in clinical epidemiology at Aarhus University Hospital and professor of kidney disease epidemiology at Aarhus University, Denmark. He has more than 15 years of experience within epidemiologic research, in particular kidney disease and critical care epidemiology, with a special focus on the risk and prognosis of patients with acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease. Christian has more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and extensive experience with international research collaboration. As the daily manager of CONNECT, the data support unit in Central Denmark Region, Christian supports local research initiatives as well as national and international health data projects including projects related to the European Health Data Space.
