Jennifer Wood is a Senior Director in MedTech Epidemiology & Real-World Data Science at Johnson & Johnson. She holds a PhD and MPH in Epidemiology.
Jennifer has 20 years of experience in patient safety across pharmaceuticals, biologics, and medical devices. She has extensive experience in post approval safety surveillance methodologies including signal detection and signal evaluation and in interactions with health authorities and notified bodies. She has immense knowledge and expertise in real-world data and complaint data. Jennifer has built and lead a diverse group of teams over her career, including epidemiologists, safety scientists, safety analytics, and regulatory reporting.
As a Senior Director in MedTech Epidemiology & Real-World Data Science in the Global Epidemiology Organization, Jennifer leads a team that designs and conducts observational studies using real-world data to generate clinical evidence in support of patient safety across the J&J MedTech Sector. She is a member of the Chief Safety Officer's leadership team, and she actively identifies opportunities to use RWE in Post Market Clinical Follow-Up and proactive safety surveillance.
