Ji Sun Chun, PharmD, is a third-year graduate student majoring in Clinical Pharmacy at the College of Pharmacy and Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Seoul National University, Republic of Korea. Her main research areas focus on developing prediction models using clinical data, analyzing health-related big data, and improving health care services such as pharmaceutical services and shared decision-making.
Currently, Ji Sun also takes role as a practicing clinical pharmacist at the Seoul National Univeristy Hospital, specializing in kidney transplantation. She plays a crucial role in educating patients on the correct use of immunosuppressant drugs and reviewing their clinical status to ensure appropriate pharmacotherapy. Previously, Ji Sun has gained substantial experience in hemato-oncology and drug safety, too. Valuable experiences in both academic research and clinical practice have deepened her understanding of real-world clinical settings and the complexities of pharmacotherapy.
Ji Sun's commitment to advancing clinical pharmacy through both practice and research demonstrates her dedication to improving patient care through innovative health care solutions and educational initiatives. At the ISPE annual meeting, she looks forward to sharing her insights and developments in the field of clinical pharmacy, particularly in how big data and predictive modeling can revolutionize patient care by enabling personalized treatment.
