Dr. Bohee Lee is a Research Associate in respiratory epidemiology at the National Heart & Lung Institute, Imperial College London, UK. She also serves as a clinical pharmacist in South Korea and earned her MPH and PhD at the Centre for Population Health Sciences, Usher Institute, University of Edinburgh. Currently, she is the co-chair of the NHLI Postdoc and Fellow Committee and a member of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology.
Her PhD project, funded by the Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research, focused on evaluating the efficacy of oral corticosteroids for preschool wheeze through an individual participant data meta-analysis. Her Postdoctoral projects, funded by Asthma+Lung UK, explore the relationship between metabolic disorders and respiratory diseases, with a particular emphasis on asthma in women, utilising electronic health records.
Dr. Lee has established networks with the WHO, UK health authorities, pharmaceutical companies (Pfizer and GSK), and several academic institutions in the UK, Finland, and South Korea. As an early career researcher, she is interested in various epidemiological studies (mainly respiratory medicine and women's health), collaborating with researchers both nationally and globally.
