Since 2005 Heva is mainly specialized in the analysis of healthcare databases. HEVA has developed an expertise in the analysis of various databases such as the PMSI or SNIIRAM, in order to carry out studies in various fields, including epidemiology, patients trajectories evaluation, indications of expensive molecules and their conditions of use, costs evaluation related to the management of a given pathology. HEVA also develops dynamic mapping tools or web interfaces for its clients, allowing real-time use of data and the realization of technical studies. Since 2013, in addition to classical health data analysis and innovative data visualization, HEVA has developed a third core business: the implementation of advanced analytic technics to meet the challenges of ever-growing and more complex health data. Whether it is a question of: 1. Advanced statistical techniques on survival (Fine & Gray and multi-state models), on management evolutions (GEE model), on group comparisons (Matching, Weighting, High-dimensional propensity score) or 2. AI algorithms such as Process Mining, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning, we make optimal use of existing databases and discover hidden information. These approaches make it possible to model and better understand the care management of patients, therapeutic developments or to compare patient groups in a relevant way. The combined use of these techniques, the adaptation of algorithms from other innovative fields such as genetics and the use of digital tools enables us to identify and visualize the treatment lines administered, as well as the therapeutic schemes used notably in oncology.
